A little trip to lush...

Hi guys. So were slowly getting into the whole youtube thing. We have uploaded a video if you guys would like to see it heres the link- http://youtu.be/-wYH5pe7Zes

So anyway yesterday I went to lush and went a updated my bath products. I spent 13.90 I didnt actually spend that much as Im going to lush next weekend again with ruby and I didn't want to spend too much. I bought 3 bath bombs and 2 bubble bars:

Mumkin bubble bar - £2.95
Pop in the bath bubbler bar - £2.95
Spacegirl bath bomb - £2.25
THINK PINK - £2.50
Dragons egg bath bomb - £3.25

Last night I tried the think pink bath bomb and I small part of Pop in the bath bubble bar. It made my bath pink coloured bubble bath with pink & red heart confetti around the bath. For £2.50 its amazing. Its quite a small bath bomb but fills the bath with pastel pink water with heart confetti. It was super relaxing and got me super ready for bed. It smells like sweets and identical to the easter bath bomb 'fluffy egg'.

I went for a sweet smelling theme in lush as all my scents were either floral, sweets or fruits.
If you guys would like me to do a lush haul for you guys I will post it on our youtube channel.

thanks

All my opinons were 100% honest and everything I bought was with my own money I was not asked to do this video.

Review: soap & glory treats

Hey guys! So we haven't posted in ages, Im so sorry, we've been so busy with all this box swap stuff that were going for each other, we will post a vlog of us shopping for it hopefully tomorrow on our youtube channel, it will be our first video so remember to check it out 'we will film the box swap aswell' ;) Anyway lets get on with the review.

So around a month and a half ago I bought these three in Boots . I did an offer which was 3 for 2 meaning I bought 3 items and got the cheapest item free. I paid £16 altogether which was £8 for the 'sugar crush body scrub' and the 'whipped clean shower butter' which was also £8 and the 'Endless glove' hand cream for £6.50 which being the cheapest I got free.

The sugar crush body scrub is amazing!  in my opinion this is the best one. Its a huge tub full and its still going, I use this around 2-3 times a week and its fantastic. Its smell its also one of the best parts, its smells very citrus like and the main smell is lime. Its also very exfoliating and makes my skin go super soft. Although some people may see it as quite an expensive product for £8 its totally worth it, its lasted me around 2 months and ive still got a bit less than half of it left. I also use quite a lot at a time so its lasting me loads and giving me all the benefits that 3-4 shower gels I probably would have bought by now during these couple of months. This is a great buy and I dont think ill ever switch scrubs as in my eyes it the best too use.

The whipped clean shower cream is suppost to be a soap and glorys idea of whipped cream. Its super soft, smells amazing and the scent lasts forever. The scent is mainly quite sweet with almond oil, pistachio and vanilla its pretty much ice cream for your shower. Its a massive tube and im still working on it. For a shower cream I can understand why people may find it expensive although as long as it works well and is worth the money I dont mind getting it. The smell is the type of smell that you will either love or you'll hate. For example my mum & sister both said it smells to sweet and made them feel abit sick where as my friend love the smell. I use this in almost all of my showers and it does work well as well as having an amazing scent and how long lasting it is. If your an ice cream, shower loving fan go for this. Its fantastic.

Lastly the clean on me hand cream. Now by this product I wasn't to impressed. The smell to me smells like an mens body spray and isn't feminine at all. The product did work and kept my hands lovely and soft although the smell just wasn't for me. Its £6.50 which I guess isn't too bad but I wouldn't re-buy it again. Dont let my opinion put you off this product as there will be some people who may enjoy or even love the smell aswell as the products Ive only used this once but it did keep my hands nice and soft.

So I hope you enjoy my review and maybe persuaded you to buy some of these products or anything from soap & glory. I was not asked to do this review these are all my 100% honest opinons and I bought these with my own money.

Relaxing pamper evening

So on a Saturday/Sunday the best thing for me is to have a relaxing pamper evening. The first thing I do is run a bath, I add in my bath bomb and bubble bar add them in and then get into the bath and relax. I will then wash my hair afterwards, blow dry and straight or put into a plait/braid and put my onsie on. I will then apply my face mask because whats a pamper evening without one of those! Ive choose the spearmint and green tea face mask which instead of applying onto my face I simply place it on top. I leave this on for  between 5-10 minutes and take off. I will then rinse my face.

Afterwards I apply my lush hand and body lotion and apply on my arms & hands (great for dry skin). I then apply another moisturizer thats not included in the pictures. I use the dove body lotion which is for dry skin.

Items mentioned:

Lush christmas penguin bubble bar - £2.50 (only available at Christmas).
Lush hand & body lotion 'charity pot' - £1.00.
Bath bomb 'cranberry & lime scented' - bomb cosmetics (http://bombcosmetics.co.uk/)
Face mask   'montagne jeunesse' - £1.28 (http://www.montagnejeunesse.com/)

So there is your pamper evening complete! Hope this has inspired you to have a lovely relaxing bath tonight, or if your more of a shower person a long relaxing shower!

Our next blog will be written by both of us as ruby will be back from France.

Farmhouse Room Decoration

Ive decided to go all out a decorate my room different than its been before, the theme im going for is a vintage farm house. Ive always loved the look of neat eggs in hay baskets in farmhouse kitchens and cute jars full of tea, sugar, coffee and sweets. I feel this is cute bedroom look although I wanted to still keep my shabby chic and beach theme somewhere in my bedroom I used my white shabby chic cabinet/dressing table and decorated a few draws and parts of the cabinet with a couple of seashells. This theme gives the look of the warm and cozy feeling for winter but a sunny farmhouse for spring. I guess this could be an outlet until I get my own house&kitchen aha. I will try and upload more pictures of my room once its all looking how I would like it. Im hoping to purchase some cute food shaped Items for storage such as biscuit tins that look like a biscuit that I can use for storage, makeup etc. To keep with a beach look Ive also found some post cards I bought last year that have not been used, including vintage looking pictures of Cornish creams teas, traditional fish and ships and Cadburys 99 ice creams. I would like to frame these and make them into a collage of all the different ones I bought/will buy. cabinet will be used to store things like nail polishes, make up , bubble bars , bath bombs and all my body products. I bought a lot of these items from places like store twenty one, the home stuff is great! this was 'mollies' room.

DIY sweet jars.

I picked up these cute Kitchen storage jars and had an idea to fill them up with sweets and decorate them. My first idea didn't include filling them with sweets but after they were decorated I filled a selection of jars full of different sweets (jelly babies, mini eggs, fizzy dummies) and added a cute floral fabric that i bought in a craft store. I think these would make cute gifts to give to your friends, to keep for yourself  or to sell them. These are so simple these took me around an hour and a half to decorate and for the glue to set and cost next to nothing to fill them up with sweets! You could even fill them up with small nail polishes or makeup which I have seen on Pintrest before. I thought these would be super cute for Easter aswell filling them up with mini eggs like I did! I hope you enjoyed this try at a DIY post;)
